TRAVELING. Nothing quite like seeing a new place for the first time or returning to somewhere you call your favorite place. People of all ages travel to several places for many different reasons – work, to spend quality time with family or for leisure.
There are other perks of traveling that many people oftentimes overlook. Whether by plane, train, ship or private cars, traveling is generally a pleasurable adventure especially when you are going to have a bus ride.

Rural Transit Mindanao, Inc. is owned and operated by the Vallacar Transit
Incorporated of the YANSON Group of Companies. The company comprises of
Vallacar Transit Corporation (operator of Ceres Liner, est. 1968), Rural
Transit Mindanao Incorporated (RTMI; operator of Rural Transit/Rural
Tours, est. 1985) and Bachelor Express Incorporated (BEI; operator
Starting its roots in 1968
as the family business of Mr. Ricardo Yanson and his wife Olivia
Villaflores Yanson. They started with one jeepney unit and evolving to a
jeepney assembly business. In the 1970's, there was a large influx of
Ford Fiera's in the market. The jeepney assembly became a small bus line
plying the Bacolod City - Valladolid - La Carlota (VALLACAR) route
named the CERES LINER.
In 1981 they ventured into Mindanao, buying out
Cagayan de Oro based bus companies Fortune Express and Bachelor Express
in 1985. Fortune Express changed its name to Rural Transit Mindanao
Incorporated while Bachelor Express retained its name as part of
the contract conditions. In 2005 they bought out Lilian Express
Incorporated and Mary May Express. They pioneered travel through the
Western Nautical Highway in 2007.
KINGLONG XMQ6128AYW
Kinglong, a China-based bus manufacturing company. The XMQ6128AYW buses are one of Kinglong's top of the line models, and is furnished with BUSPAD's Portable Tablets, Earphone Jacks, USB Ports for gadgets charging, Comfortable seats, Retractable mini trays with cup holder, spacious leg room, a Wifi, and Portable Comfort Rooms.
Unfortunately, I haven't got the chance to take a photo of the newest RTMI Bus as a whole. The experience I felt upon entering the bus was amusing and surprisingly unusual. It's very impressive that it seems like I am going to travel by bus in abroad. If I am to compare something, probably I felt like leaving on an airplane.
To be very honest, there are lots of new things this bus offers.

Currently, the Yanson Group are the launch customer of these buses in the Philippines. And these units will be assigned to Rural Transit of Mindanao Inc., for Cagayan De Oro to Davao route; and to Bachelor Express Inc., for Cagayan De Oro to Butuan and Butuan to Davao routes. These buses will be in service anytime this week.
