esports league moves to a bigger venue, launches ticket sales, allows
mid-season transfers, and more!
2 August 2024, MANILA—The 14th season of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Philippines is scheduled to debut on August 16, 2024. The eight-week season will begin on Fridays and end on Sundays. Friday and Sunday events start at 5 p.m., while Saturday matches begin at 2:30 p.m.
These are the main reasons MPL PH Season 14 is the most anticipated season of MLBB esports: experienced competitors finding homes in new teams; significant roster changes announced; new rules to be adopted; and increased community activities.
1. MPL PH
moves to a new venue; tickets on sale starting 5 August
For its 14th edition, MPL PH Season 14 will now occur at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati, a new location. Every broadcast day, 300 on-site fans will be able to fit into the larger arena, which will also feature immersive activities for the fans.
Fans may purchase tickets to watch their favorite MPL PH icons in action starting on August 5 at 13:00. All matches in Weeks 1 through 8 will have tickets available for purchase at an early bird price of PHP 160 through August 9 at 23:59 only. On August 10, tickets will be available for purchase at the standard rate of PHP 200.
The first 50 ticket buyers to redeem on-site for each match during the first week of sales will get 50 cheat codes. During the regular season, players who attend regularly for eight weeks can win 1,000 in-game diamonds. The aforementioned in-game goodies will be given to the first 100 fans who claim them on the first day of the playoffs in the MPL PH arena. 2. New
teams, new rivalries, new stories
With a lineup full of celebrities, Aurora (RORA) is officially making its MPL Philippines debut and is sure to upset the status quo. Despite being new to the game, they have a strong roster of established players that are eager to win. The team is made up of veteran players Edward "Edward" Dapadap, Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo, and Renejay "Renejay" Barcase from Blacklist International (BLCK). Former BLCK coaches Aniel "Master The Basics" Jiandani and Dexter Louise "DEXTAR" Alaba will serve as the team's captains.
However, with over half of their staff moving to Aurora, BLCK will need to rewrite the code for their successful approach. Well-known Filipino imports Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera and Michael "MPTHEKING" Endino join BLCK as EXP Laner and Jungler, respectively. Will the latest group of Codebreakers succeed in claiming victory? With their key players absent this time, all eyes are on them to make the crucial decisions needed to win.
Caisam "Wolf" Nopueto, a former MPL PH Analyst, has joined the TNC Pro Team as their head coach for the upcoming campaign. Wolf has continuously been a member of the international talent desk and MPL PH cast for MLBB's overseas events. As the head coach of TNC, he can greatly increase the team's in-game expertise. Will the team benefit from his analysis as it prepares for a significant overhaul in front of MPL PH Season 14?
3. New
rules, including the open transfer system
Now that each team in the MLBB Development League (MDL) Philippines has access to a complete mid-season transfer ecosystem, the rivalry in the MPL PH will be even more intense. Teams can alter their strategy at any point during the season to put themselves in the best possible position to capture the much sought-after MPL PH title. More information will be revealed soon!

community activities!
In addition to the meet and greets and merchandise sales, MPL Philippines will resume its MPL Smart Battle Trips program, which gathers MLBB fans from various towns, places of employment, or educational institutions to observe the action from the field. The MPL PH Infinix Cup, which will feature community matchups in the arena during breaks, is another way the league will test the gaming prowess of its supporters.
Additionally, through the weekly raffle, a select group of lucky supporters of each team will have the opportunity to meet and have their idols sign merchandise goods and in-game stuff.
