Biggest MLBB esports tournament in the Philippines to send top two teams to MSC 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

May 9, 2024, Manila—The 13th edition of MPL Philippines, the nation's most prominent MLBB esports competition, will take place at a larger location in the South. Over 10,000 offline fans are expected to attend the playoff season, which will be place in SM Southmall, Las Piñas City, from May 22–26, 2024. Six teams—AP Bren, ECHO, Blacklist International, RSG Philippines, Minana EVOS, and ONIC Philippines—have meritoriously qualified for the playoffs.

Six MPL Philippines teams will compete not just for the championship title, but the chance to represent the Philippines in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024 featured at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Dubbed 'Home of the Champions', the Philippines has a high chance of securing the title and taking home the biggest share of the prize pool worth USD 3 million.

The teams will compete for the highly sought-after title and the largest portion of the USD 150,000 (about PHP 8.5 million) prize pool. With a massive prize pool of USD 3 million, or around PHP 171 million, the top two teams will compete for the privilege of representing the Philippines in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024, which will be held at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Tickets for live events featuring their preferred teams may be acquired through SM Tickets, with a starting price of PHP 100. Match schedules and ticket options are shown below:

To accommodate its Indonesian supporters who would like to watch the event online, MPL Philippines will introduce the Bahasa Indonesia Stream on MPL Indonesia YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok for the first time. Come along with Momo Chan, Mirko, Pak Pulung, and other ID commentators as they broadcast live MPL-PH matches to the Indonesian MLBB community!

In addition, the league will introduce the Matanglawin Spot Challenge, which will test viewers' ability to identify the MSC trophy that will appear on screen at random times of the day. Participants must snap a photo of themselves pointing at the trophy and share it on Facebook using the hashtags #MPLPHS13 #MSC2024 #LakasNgPinas.

The MPL-PH Alamat Awards, which honor the illustrious figures who have aided in developing MLBB esports in the Philippines, are another addition to MPL-PH Season 13. This applies to athletes, coaches, and media representatives. There will be another legendary MLBB esports player admitted into the Hall of Legends.

Additionally, offline viewers can take part in a variety of on-ground events at the MPL Community Hub, which is housed at SM Southmall Game Park. Here, fans can experience a variety of activations, socialize with artists and cosplayers, and use the watch party space. There will be merchandise stalls set up by MPL-PH teams, allowing fans to purchase the newest jerseys, jackets, stickers, and other products.

Finally, following every series of matches, MPL-PH teams will have meet-and-greet events, providing fans with an opportunity to snap pictures with their heroes!
